When I turn on the cold water tap on the monobloc tap mounted on my kitchen sink I get horrendous banging and sometimes loud "whistling" apparently from the pipe beneath the tap coupled with erratic flow of cold water. Turning the tap on full eventually clears the problem but only till the next time I use the cold water tap. Sometimes the hot water tap on the same monobloc does the same thing but much less seriously. regards RL

......... Check out the flexi tap tails, maybe they ( moreso the cold) are deteriorating...That`s for a quarter turn tap with ceramic disc. For a less usual monobloc. just change the tapwasherSponsored Links
It's been happening for months now. The banging has got louder and louder and the erratic flow more severe. Need to resolve is getting more urgent as the problem bexomes more embarrassing. RL
