what do you mean?!!! am i right about the top up from the prim feed? i hope my system is installed correctly!!!! i have seen pics of a similar system but with the feed and vent on different sides, the vent being on the left !!!!!
ok thanks a lot for your help. sorry if i sounded dumb with all the questions! last point: say i had a fault and the system did overheat or something and a lot of cold water was then added as replacement via the prim feed, then i'd know about it as i'd get cold water from my hot taps/cold rads wouldn't I!!!? i just am so nosey and curious!!lol
but, another point that is not as stupid-how comes the primary cold feed water which is directly above the pump, doesn't get drawn into the system and through the hot water cylinder/heating circuit? it doesn't make sense??!!!
what i am trying to understand though, is, the hot water from the boiler tee's into the primary cold feed water, and this water goes through the pump and into the hot water cylinder/central heating flow!!! just wondered how the cold was kept out as there is no service valve (and i know for a fact no service valvae or any valves at all are allowed on the prim cold feed or vent pipes)!!! just really curious !!! lol
