I have just had a pipe replaced in concrete floor due to leak. Have been advised my so many people different things of protecting etc. Does this have to go into metal conduit as this will cause all sorts of problems or is there another way of protecting the pipes and re-screeding

I've chased copper pipework into walls before and sleeved with 20mm flexible electrical conduit. Whether or not there is a plumbing regulation that this would contravene, I'm not sure, although I can't see how it's much different to plastic pipe-in-pipe.

Its best to create a duct or use a proprietary product such as THIS
