I have just had a central heating install carried out by a GasSafe engineer. His work appears to be of a good quality however in the loft, the lagged plastic pipes he's used run over everything (i.e. the truss / bottom chord, insulation, boards, etc.) and not through or under anything. Is this acceptable? Will it cause problems if I was to sell the property? Should I insist it is redone?

Thanks in advance.

Unless you agreed anything to the contrary then I don't see he has done anything wrong, after all it is only a loft. As long as it isn't dangerous then I can't see where the problem is - unless it looks like spaghetti junction of course.
