Is it possible to use the PIRs built in to flood lights to switch two floods at the same time but the catch is....

The floods aim opposite directions they are mounted back to back, we want them to switch a bit like two way switching. so when someone comes though the front door they light both ends of the hall up but we also want it so when some one comes though the doors at the other end they both switch on again to light both ends of the hall.

Is the only real option and 360Deg PIR?? or can the PIR's bulit in be used??

Thanks
Jake

It depends on what the MIs say. Some have some allowance for extra load switching on the PIR. Some don't.

Ahhhh that would be so much easier, Would Contactors work or i know i've got one of these lying about, no sure of
the type.
What would be even easier would be just to link the two together - provided that, as ricicle said, there is enough spare switching capacity in the PIRs (which there often is) - do you have the instructions for them?

Kind Regards, John
