PIR Motion Sensor Wiring

Hi All,

I am looking to install a PIR motion sensor in my garage and need help with the wiring please.

Currently, i have a light switch in the garage which has just 2 wires into it. The LED light in the ceiling also has just 2 wires (Live and Neutral).

So when it comes to me fitting the sensor, which connections do i connect the 2 wires (Live and Neutral) to? See diagram for PIR sensor wiring.

If by your description you mean the cables at the switch and the light have only 2 cores & an earth then there should be a junction box somewhere with 3 cables and 4 terminals.

In the sensor the first L&N are from the permanent supply.
The 2nd L goes to the light, although the Neutrals can be linked if they're not already linked in the sensor.
