Evening!

Im swapping my downstairs toilet light switch for a PIR sensor, specifically the MARK U12-4440 sensor. It is fitted above the door way, in the centre, and about 3cm from the wall.

Problem is that the light never goes off, time is set to 10secs and I've tried various LUX settings. I can here a click after 10secs, but the light remains on. I've got +'ive and -'ive connected correctly. The windows are closed, no blinds or anything moving in the room.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks in advance

If you hear the click but it doesn’t go off, you’ve prpbably wired it wrongly. Post photos.

BTW, 10 secs is far too short! Do you not spend longer than that stationary on the loo?

There are 3 connections in the sensor; Permanent live, Neutral, Switched Live. Have you got the two Live connections crossed?

Hi!

Sorry for late reply, busy busy. I had it wired incorrectly and didn't have the switched live in. All sorted now, thanks for the steer both.

And yeah, 10secs was just for testing
