Hi All,

I'm planning to build a small sloping roof on the front of the house over the porch. The roof will also cover next doors porch, the height will not exceed 3.5m. It's currently a leaking flat roof!
Does anyone know if planning permission is required for this?
I've made an enquiry to the council but not heard anything back.

Thanks
Paul

It seems like this work will not require PP - you are not going forward from the original house, and not higher than the existing main roof
