placing jack or axel stands

hi,

i know this might have been asked before but i couldnt find anything in search

i would like to know a suitable place for my car jack and axle stand

im going to try and post a image of the under neath of my car, the car is a vauxall corsa '02 and a peugeot 306 '96

Ideally under the wishbone mounts.

I agree with neo, but be carefull with the corsa that you don't jackup on the wishbone it's self. Use the 'u' shaped chassis rail behind the wishbone. With retgards to the P306 jack under the subframe it's self.

IIRC, the Haynes manuals and the owners manual usually show the jacking and support points for various cars.
