Planning permission examples of render

Just phone up some render suppliers and ask for a render sample. Just peel the sticker of the manufacturer off the back and tell the planners your chosen render subby gave it to you.

eg http://www.wbs-ltd.co.uk/cementitious-render-samples/

You could probably do worse than phoning a few architects practices they generally have samples all over the place.

Typically on a commercial project a m2 of blockwork would be erected and rendered for planning to inspect.

Surely, if it is being white, then it would make more sense to show them an example of an already white painted render finish.... er... like the existing?

The client could chop out a piece of his wall and lug it into the council offices or.........

I have a K Rend white render sample floating around, true this is a coloured through render but if you take the sticker off the back it looks like any normal white render, PM me if you want it.
