I have quite an old flat roof which looked in fairly good condition until a climbing plant grew up and underneath the edge and has taken off a peice of the front overlap bit, which now shows all the fascia, although the top is still intact. Can this be repaired or do I need to replace the whole roof.

the front apron goes under the first run of felt!
it can be patched up though it will leave a seam on the roof which the water will sit behind.
if the roof is that old maybe its time to think about replacing it! " preventative maintenance" :D
