Plaster board

Hi

I'm ripping down a load of plasterboard from 1950 house on ceiling. Some one said check for asbestos. So I know aib board may be used for ceilings but the stuff I have has paper either side did aib have paper backing as well?

Not sure how common it was for aib to be used on ceilings was in 50s.
