plaster cost of average 3 bedroom house

I have been quoted around £2000 for 3 bedroom house. The plaster involves seal, bead and plaster all wall including ceiling entire house.

Total area is around 248 m2 so £8 per square meter.

This quote includes material etc.

However, it does not include removing old paper as I will be doing that myself.

My budget is very tight but do you think it is too much?

I think the plasterer is "ripping himself off" to be honest. Plastering a whole house "including materials",, £2000? you're avin a laugh. He also doesn't know what's underneath the wallpaper, cracks, loose plaster that may come off etc. I would never ever give a quote until any/all wallpaper etc has been removed, then you can see the job itself.
