Plaster or Plasterboard

Hi,

Have a new extention built with standard thermal blocks on the inner leaf, what would be the best finish? Plaster or plasterboard with a skim?

Wet plaster is always superior.

If it is a Kitchen extension Render and finishing is best.

Base coat & skim; be it plaster or render (preferred). It’ll cost you more but will outlast you, skimmed plasterboard might not !
