Hi i'm having a kitchen extension done in blockwork. would you plasterboard the internal blockwork or plaster straight onto the block?
thanks for any help.

If you Dot and Dab the plaster board on to the block work then you will have a small void in places behind the boards. This is not really a big problem but as you say it will be a kitchen. And kitchens need units that will have to be fixed to the wall. So in my opinion you would be better off having the kitchen floated and set. This way you will have a sold wall to fix all your units to. Float and set consists of a "scratch coat" a "float coat " and a "skim" coat. Depending on what type of blocks are used internally will depend on what your plasterer will put on the wall ask him of the alternatives and the advantages and dis-advantages of each method...

Dry lining (plaster board) is considerably cleaner than wet plastering it.

Dry lining would make things much easier to run cables if you have need to re wire, or just add extra sockets and switches some time in the future.
