Hi

I've just ripped tiles off my kitchen wall and majorly damaged the plasterboard. A mate has plastered straight on to the blockwork with hardwall to bring it level with the remaining plasterboard and he'll return to finish plaster over it.

The hardwall plaster gives off an eggy smell that fills the downstairs. Will that ease soon? Is there anything I can do in the present to combat it other than air-freshner?

Cheers!

Smells can only smell when they are wet. When dry it'll be fine.

You could always cook some bacon?
