Hi.
We've been installing a fake chimney breast wall around a log burner.
The studwork is all in and most of the plasterboard and hardboard on too.
What were not sure about it how to go from plaster on the face that's facing the room to tiles which are facing onward to the burner.
The plaster will just be a skim coat.
Plasterboard end stop leaves a galvanised covering over the plasterboard. I could tile up to that but the galvanised finish would look odd and couldn't be painted.
Could just use tile trim and have that and tile cover the edge of the plasterboard.
Hope this makes sense
