Hi,

As part of my renovations some of the rooms will need to be re-plastered. I wondered whether there was any easy way of adding insulation as part of the re-plastering?

I've looked at a couple of sites and found products like this:
Gryproc Thermal
Larfarge ThermalK

Are these suitable for using to line the walls of my property, constructed with brick cavity walls. The existing cavity has been (2") filled with foam granules.

Will I get a noticeable improvement adding extra insulation over and above the cavity insulation?

Are there any issues with damp? I've noticed the boards typically have vapour control layers of some sort, if the moisture condenses against the back of the board, where does it drain off to?

thoughts welcome,
