Hi

I want to build a plasterboard wall in a commercial environment, is it better to use metal uprights compared to timber? I'd like to find a pre hung door if possible but struggling as all I can find us external doors.

I've seen the walls where you have a verticle aliminium strip over the joints, what is the benefit of using this setup rather than tape and jointing, just quicker and no mess?

Thanks

Metal stud walls are generally more expensive than their typical timber equivalent, but have the added advantage of both fire rating and lightweight.
A bit more info would help :|
