Plasterboard

Hi,

I have built a games room 10m x 4m with pitched roof, created by pre-made roof trusses, as the ceiling joist centres are 600mm opposed to the traditional 400mm centres, is 9.5mm plasterboard sufficient (which I have now fitted) or should I have opted for 12.5mm plasterboard.

always use 12.5mm boards for ceilings as they offer better fire resistance. i only recommend 9.5mm when overboarding.
