plastered old sockets, drying time before painting?

Hi all,

I've just had a rewire and some of our sockets moved. The old sockets plastered and I I'm not sure how long I should wait until painting them. Am I looking at days or weeks?

The depth of a socket will be quite deep for filler so will need a good few days to dry out.
