plastering a curved frieze???

How hard would it be to patch plaster 1 sq meter of a curved freeze and what materials should i use. Thanks in advance for your time and advice.

sorry mate, I don't think any of the plasterers read it. They
might have thought you were posting about a freezer
(they only see the title).

I think you are talking about a "FRIEZE"

Do you mean a frieze?
And just because someone doesnt answer in 23hrs doesnt mean no-one will.. most of the peeps on here work so dont sit about all day answering posts .. :) .. most well some..

Bit of a specialist job really not one that plasterers would come across,quite a big frieze if you want to patch in a SQUARE metre of it or do you mean a linear metre is it inside or outside ,obiousily you would need different materials depending which.
By curved do you mean it is a arched shape or the moulding is rounded
 
Well, if you make a template out of ply to the shape of the curve.........by making a cardboard one first cutting this one with scissors,then transfer to the ply one .......you can run that across the face of the patch.....I would then bulk out the hole with a lightweight plaster like bonding or hardwall...running it with your template ...........then smooth with multi-finish plaster or Easi-Fill which is the joint finish for drywall . that`s what I`d do ;) and did similar on a smaller scale to a curved wall/ceiling Hth.
