Hi

I am for tiling my bathroom but I have a slight problem with the hotpress in my bathrrom. Basically the walls in my bathroom are plastered brick walls except for above the door frame into my hotpress. As you can see from my picture there was just a wooden panel above the hotpress door before.

But, I am now planning on fitting a bit of aquapanel which I have left over, into the opening to bring it flush with the wall, so that I can tile over it.

My question is once I have the aquapanel board in place, can I plaster over the bit of the wooden frame between the plastered wall and the sheet of aquapanel?

You cant plaster over wood, it'll crack & fall off.

Edit;
Just realised your tiling the wall anyway so I'd just fill the gap out with some tile adhesive & tile over it.
