How would you suggest to plaster this? It's a timber frame across to block. I was going to batten the block and then board over but worried about timber frame movement cracking the plasterboard.

Do I need some sort of flexible joint?

Thanks

When we had this done, it just had 4" scrim run down the joint and skimmed straight across. No issues in 4 years.....

So you stuck scrim tape on the timber and plastered over it?

I said when we had it done, not I did it.

The OP mentions plasterboard over it, not timber. They mention timber FRAME

Oh I see. Plasterboard the timber frame and scrim before skimming.

Dot n dab the sheets to the brickwork and continue across to the stud, bridge the join between the stud and brick with a full width sheet.
