i am going to skim over my artex ceiling, artex quite thick,so am going to use bonding first.

QUESTION [do you applying p.v.a on the ceiling before applying the bonding

QUESTION [ do you use a dardy after laying on the bonding to flatten the bonding.

how long do you leave the bonding [do you let it dry or do you apply multi on it when its damp

Knock off any high spots in the artex first, taking care not to breathe in any dust,,, give the ceiling a coat of pva to kill any suction,, let it dry,, "pva again"and then put on your bonding coat while the "pva is still "tacky".
Let the bonding coat "set",,, (dark patches will appear as the bonding sets), and then you would put on your two coats of multi finish. It is always better to coat and finish any wall/ceiling the same day.
You wouldn't need to use a darby for this particular job,, it's not a thick enough coat. The trowel should leave it flat enough for the finishing.

Finish straight onto the bonding when it has set,, you don't need to pva the bonding.
