Plastering over previously wallpapered plasterboard?

Hi

I'm stripping the wallpaper on my dining room ceiling, expecting to find plaster undrneath, but there's just plasterboard! Would this be ok to plaster directly on to after having the wallpaper on it? or would I be better just ripping it all down and putting new plasterboard up?

Scrim tape the board joints and skim away.

Thanks brist! I'll do the scrim taping, but thats where my plastering skills end... I'll leave the rest to the pros!
