Hi,
I have to build a stud wall that will adjoin to existing block work in my house. The Stud wall I will simply board up, at present the block work has a layer of plaster and skim on it.
What would a plaster like to see to then make the wall appear as one?
Would it be best to remove the old plaster from the block, and dot and dab the wall? This I assume will still leave a slight variance in levels between the 2 walls?
Or could the 2 surfaces be levelled off OK?
Removing the existing block wall and replacing with stud is not really a valid option.
Cheers
