Plastic 450mm inspection chamber

My Invert depth is 1400mm and I believe the maximum depth for 450mm round chamber is 1200mm.

Do you think it would be okay if I removed 200mm from the topsoil surrounding the chamber cover to get round this.

Yes, this would effectively reduce the depth the chamber needs to be.
