Just a simple question
I am putting plastic trim around the windows in the bathroom.
Now do i tile up to the trim leaving no gap or do i leave a gap (which would be easier) and grout the gap.
Thanks in advance.

The idea is that the cut edge of the tile is covered by the trim, so in answer to your question, tile up to the trim.

I would disagree.

I leave a gap between the tile and the edging the same size as the gap between adjacent tiles and grout it - works for me.

But I am only an amateur!

as gcol says, the trim is actually an extension of the tile edge, albeit a plastic one. the join between the two should be as discreet as possible.
