hi, i'm doing my kitchen and have moved the heating pipe work. problem is that after taken of the box surrounding the pipes i've notice that the plaster only went up to the box. whats best for leveling off where the old pipe boxing was? can i just use filler or will multi finish be best? whats the difference between the two?

Depends how thick it has to go on. Best use bonding then skim or if it's only a small area and under 10mm thick you may get away with using easy fill which is really easy to sand down but costs alot more than bonding.

good luck
