Hi,

Bit of a silly question but I would like the best possible finish....

I will having some pipes boxed in and windows fitted in a few weeks time but the walls also need plastered, should the walls be plastered before the joinery work and window fitting or after or does it make no difference.

Yes, that's correct.

I was thinking plastering was the last thing to do but did not know how much repair would be needed after the windows were fitted.

Hard to say, some window fitters manage to get them in with very little damage, others not.
But you can plaster walls/areas that are unaffected by the windows if you wanted. The damage if any will be around the reveals.
Boxing the pipes in can be done last.
