sorry i dont know anything about this kind of thing, are these TRV's, or are they called something else?

They dont serve the same purpose
they are lock sheild valves and are only there to balance/isolate the rad

No they are basic Valves to turn a radiator on or off.
Study how trvs work then you'll understand why these are not.

they are known as "hand wheel valves" in my neck of the woods. def not lockshields
