please help newbie!

hi guys

i have a problem with my CH! (state the obvious!) Basically the top ones work and the ones downstairs dont..there is no air in them so thats not the problem..


i tried draining some water out and this causes the pipes which are connected to the heater to warm up but the heater itself did not warm up...after a while these too became cold...

just wondering what could be the cause for this and what am i looking at in terms of cost...i would call sum1 out but thought id try this first as its probably a simple thing
