Hello all.

I am trying to connect an old phone (nokia 7250i) to my laptop as I am desperate to get some old photos off of my daughter when she was newborn. I have just got myself a connectivity cable (ca-42) and disc. When I plug the USB into the port I just get 3 beeps and then when I connect the phone to the other end I get nothing at all? Can anyone offer any advice as I am desperate to get these photos. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Have you got the Nokia PC Suite installed on your laptop?
It is free to download from:

Click 'Go to download'
Then select your phone model and follow instructions.

Once installed, use your CA cable to connect and download your pictures.

I've come across this with a number of different people, and the best solution is possibly the easiest - can you not use the phone to send the pictures, either by picture message or bluetooth to someone who has got a phone working with their computer, or by email (from the phone) to your own address.

It saves you alot of time and effort getting a phone connected for just 5 mins of use...
