IMG_2221.PNG IMG_2222.PNG Hi please can someone help name the part I need for my shower knobs. They have stopped turn properly and just spin. The part I can see that is broken I have attached pictures but don't know what it's called or if I can buy this part individually.

Unless you can find the make/model then difficult to say if they'll be available separately. Get in touch with showerdoc - https://www.showerdoc.com/ - and send them the pics, they may be able to identify.

It looks to me like someone has jammed a plastic cone onto the actual spline that the tap should be seated on , so if it isn't a bona fide part , it may be a bodge to help turn the tap.
If you know the make of the unit then you may stand a chance of finding a replacement, either that or replace the original spline and tap head.

Worth checking the spindle is not seized that's often why handles chew up inside.

Glad you got it Scott, they are a good bunch to be fair.

Not unusual to have a tap with a plastic insert/adapter.
