I hav'nt got full spec yet, but...

A friend wants me to come up with a system that will heat hot water only, no radiators.

It will run of NG, and he doesnt want to loose alot of space, so a cylinder is out the window, as a option!

The biggest hurdle is that the shower head is apparantly 500mm x 500mm.......BiiiiiiiiiiiiiGGGGGGGG!!!!!!
So it needs to cope with the demand that will put on it.

As i said , ive got no appliance details apart from s.head diameter.
He seems keen on me fitting a whole house booster pump???????

Any ideas out there?
Thanx

Paul

500mmx500mm is 2.5m2

You would need a pump bigger than a cylinder to feed that

He was adament it was half a meter squared.

I questioned it but he came back with the same reply 500mm x500mm

Hes a engineer so ive no reason to question him.

At the very least you will need to know the volume of head and required flowrate
You need to look at water heaters such as rinnai

500mm x 500mm is quarter of a square meter. Half a square meter is going to need some serious amount of stored pumped water. But as the other guys say. You will need a lot more specific information on the fittings you intend to use.

Groovejet -Technically that`s a douche head - colloquially so is your M8
