Plinth Lights Flicker When Off?!

So what? the kettle isn't going to actually do anything, is it?

Hint for the hard of thinking:
CPD on lighting circuit = 6amps. Kettle = 13 amps

Plus, how likely is it that the kettle will be plugged into a socket specially installed to feed plinth lighting?

Winston, you really are a one, as my Gran used to say.

Wow I have started a bit of a dispute.

As some of you guys have stated, the plug is located under the units and behind the plinth and is labelled 5amp only. The 'socket' is fed from the lightswitch at the opposite side of the room. I cannot see how I can fit the suppressor on the other side of the plug in adaptor as the push fittings are already tight due to the IP ratings.
