Probaly the easiest way, would be to open a plug that is wired & copy the wiring on your new one.
Ensure all the strands of wire are twisted and inserted in the holes or under the screws, and that all the screws are tightened.
If you are in any doubt get it checked OR dont start it
 
The other very easy way is to buy a brand-new plug for 50p. Make sure the one you buy has a small card pushed over the pins with illustrated instructions (they generally do).
