Hi Fredflintstone.Do your course,get some quilifications behind you,but also if you can,find a good plumber and ask if you can work with him at weekends for free.You will then see what it is like in the real world not a classroom.Do this and you will learn a lot more and you will have someone there if something goes wrong and you will learn how to deal with it.Go out with him on his call outs.You could also get notice and seen that you are keen and take you on.Go for it.
