just wondered if these are good enough for a dishwasher a Self Cutting Tap 15mm to install my dishwasher or would i have to put a proper t-piece in and tap ????

They work but they're not great. Far better to fit 1/4 turn valves in line. This will mean cutting the pipes.

i have found a lot of self cutting taps are also self sealing

I know this is an old post but will a self cutting tap affect the flow to both the Dishwasher and washing machine if both on together, or should you only use one at a time?
