There are two irritating noises that i would be grateful for any ideas on
1 - as the cistern fills up in the morning it makes a loud 'slurping' noise
2 - as water drains down through waste pipes i get a loud tapping noise. I've been advised that this is because the pipe isn't insulated - however the company wanted several hundred pounds to fix it, which seemed excessive.
Any suggestions much appreciated! Although I'm guessing I need a plumber, it would be good if anyone could suggest what may be the problem and if it's likely to a major job...
