when threading low carbon steel how much longer should the thread on the pipe compared to the fitting? :?:
 
It's all about the fittings mate, so check with the fittings manufacturers. Who's fittings are you using?

What is the steel pipe being used for?

If gas then you are clearly not competant and I cannot advise anyway.

Unfotunately due to the likes of Joe90, DickPuller etc, all new posters are treated with suspicion and derision. It is about time the MODS did something about multiple identities before the cuts kil this forum :twisted:
