I am thinking of tiling over the floorboards in my bathroom.
To do this, I will put down a 1/2 inch WBP plywood layer over the existing floorboards.
Doing this will present a couple of problems:
* The door will need to be trimmed.
* The existing basin and WC plumbing connections will not reach when I raise the floor.
I welcome your advice on tackling these two problems.
One solution would be to rip out the floorboards and replace. But I have already installed a new bath in one corner of the bathroom and would like to leave it as is.
Thanks
Mike
