Tired of weeding patio and currently suffering from a back injury so looking to do a final weed and then fill in the gaps with 'something', but not sure what product to use. I've found pour in mixes, dry mixes to hose down afterwards - for each of these there's branded products but these can work out quite pricey so wondering if I can mix my own?

Or whether I need to bite the bullet and fill in the gaps individually by hand?

A friend of mine has just paved an area in his garden, in Indian stone. He uses a resin/sand grout, called pavetuf. £38 per pack.

You wet the paving, open the bag, sprinkle in the joint, then he lightly brushed at 45° and swept the excess to the next joint. It's very quick to do a large area.

After a couple of days its like rock. I read the packet, he doesn't, but you should tool is down, he never bothers and never has had a problem with it (he's a landscaper).

Personally, I wouldn't use cement/sand mix after seeing this.

Might give you an idea. Good luck
