It reminded me that all these children's stories have a moral. Little Red Riding Hood's is "Don't trust things that might seem OK". The Three Little Pigs is "Don't let strangers into your house". Kids need to know this - there are some nasty people out there.
I heard about one performance of The Three Little Pigs where, at the end, they all made up and became friends. How is that going to teach kids about good and evil?
