Hiya guys - I have read some old threads on the subject with mixed responses. Mind you, they are over 4 years old. Has the product been improved and would you recommend it to cover a kitchen wall with some cracks etc?

How big are the cracks in the wall?
Polycell basecoat will cover some imperfection and hairline cracks.
But it is not a magic cure for walls that are in need of a little more repair.

The cracks aren't that large, I was just trying to save time and effort double lining, as I have done in the rest of our place. The old walls have some really old ( possibly lead paint?) on the walls and has pulled through on other walls that have been lined. I was wondering whether to seal the walls, then use basecoat before painting.
