Good discussion to raise. Last year I caught a flight to Gran Canaria with the squaw. An extended family of ginger people who live in caravans was on the flight. Ironically it was a Ryanair plane.
Most of the adults were half-hammered after hogging all the seats in the airport bar previously then when on the plane they were opening the duty free booze they had with them. Lots of bad language and profanities ensued and then a lady with two small children in front of me objected to the language. All hell broke loose with threats and shouting.
To be honest the stewards did their best and held back the ginger people whilst everyone else got off the plane to avoid a punch up on the air strip.
The airlines should ban alcohol completely like they did with smoking.
