Hi, I have just had a cloakroom sink installed with a B&Q monobloc 'Valencia' tap & pop up waste. Although the plug pops up & down it doesn't seem to be removeable. I have one in the bathroom which I thought was the same one, installed by a different plumber, which rests on a lever which pops it up and down & just lifts out. Any idea why this one doesn't ? 
& can it be made to lift out for cleaning ? Also the height of it is very low which makes the water drain out very slowly. Help appreciated.

- fiddled about behind the sink with a screwdriver, unhooked the plug & replaced it on top of the lever thingy it was fixed to & it works like a dream now, & is removeable for cleaning ! Magic !!!
