Does anyone know if there is a new EU ruling which states that those kind gentleman who repair our highways and byways need to have the use of a portable toilet sited nearby?
One appeared in my road yesterday, on a council maintained grass verge opposite my driveway (nice) for workmen in the next street along.
When I complained and asked for it to be resited I was told that it was in an "appropriate" place and it was needed for "health and safety reasons".
Can't remember this happening before when we have had loads of roadmending going on, so I wondered if it was a new thing. Anyone any the wiser?
