Hi,
I done a job in a porter cabin ccu this morning, there were complaints from the site manager it kept tripping and at one stage the 100mA RCD was arching.
I tested all the breakers (x3 - Ringx2 and lighting), connections, i then carried out the following tests C R I P E on all cct's i also done an earth electrode test which proved fine. However when i was inspecting i saw no problems.... the rcd was not arching-was working fine. only thing i can think of is that they were running some high powered machines off of the ring cct......?
if anyone has come across this situation before and can suggest any defects that would be great.
thanks,
carlos
